The Role
We're seeking a dynamic Head of Marketing who thrives on building something extraordinary from the ground up.
As our Head of Marketing, you'll have complete ownership of our marketing universe—from crafting compelling narratives that resonate with technical decision-makers to orchestrating demand gen campaigns that drive measurable revenue growth. This isn't just another marketing role; it's your opportunity to leave an indelible mark on our company's trajectory.

You excel at assembling and conducting a symphony of agencies and specialized contractors, transforming their expertise into campaigns that consistently surpass targets. Your background spans the full marketing spectrum—product positioning that cuts through noise, demand generation that converts, and SEO strategies that dominate search landscapes.
What sets you apart is your fluency in the language of builders: CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and Product leaders. You understand their challenges, speak their technical vernacular, and know how the Software Development Lifecycle shapes their daily decisions. You've navigated the exhilarating chaos of early-stage startups before and emerged victorious, with growth metrics and revenue wins as your proof points.
What You'll Own
Demand Generation & Growth
- Design and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns to drive qualified leads
- Build and optimize conversion funnels from awareness to customer acquisition
- Develop and manage paid advertising strategies across Google Ads, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels
- Create and execute account-based marketing strategies for enterprise prospects
- Establish lead scoring, nurturing workflows, and marketing qualified lead (MQL) processes
SEO & Organic Growth
- Develop comprehensive SEO strategy targeting developer, product, founder and QA professional audiences
- Create and execute content marketing strategy including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and technical guides
- Optimize website architecture and content for organic search performance
- Build thought leadership through industry publications and community engagement
- Manage organic social media presence and community building initiatives
Product Marketing
- Craft compelling product positioning and messaging for our no-code test automation platform
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new product features and releases
- Create sales enablement materials including battle cards, demo scripts, and competitive analysis
- Conduct customer research and develop ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and buyer personas
- Launch and measure product marketing campaigns and feature announcements
Brand Marketing & Communications
- Define and evolve Rainforest QA's brand voice, messaging, and visual identity
- Develop brand awareness campaigns targeting the developer and QA communities
- Create and manage PR strategy, including media relations and industry analyst engagement
- Plan and execute event marketing strategy, including conferences, webinars, and developer meetups
- Build strategic partnerships and co-marketing opportunities
Analytics & Optimization
- Implement comprehensive marketing analytics and attribution modeling
- Track, analyze, and report on marketing performance across all channels
- Conduct A/B tests and continuously optimize campaigns for better ROI
- Manage marketing budget allocation and ROI measurement
- Use data to inform strategic decisions and forecast growth
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- 7+ years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in a senior marketing role
- Proven track record at early-stage, B2B SaaS startups
- Experience marketing to developer, DevOps, or technical audiences
- Demonstrated success in demand generation and customer acquisition
- Strong analytical skills with experience in marketing automation and CRM platforms
- Experience with SEO/SEM, content marketing, and paid advertising
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot)
- Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel)
- Familiarity with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs)
- Actively experiments with AI tools and platforms to enhance marketing efficiency, creativity, and performance, with a proven track record of implementing AI solutions in marketing workflows
- Understanding of developer tools ecosystem and technical product marketing
- Experience with design tools (Figma, Canva) and basic HTML/CSS knowledge preferred
