Leadership team welcomes new CMO and VP of sales
SAN FRANCISCO–Rainforest QA, the leader in on-demand quality assurance (QA) solutions, today announced two key executive appointments to support growth across their sales and marketing organization as companies seek QA solutions that drive bottom line growth. The appointments include the hiring of CMO Ben Plummer, along with the promotion of Hannah Willson to VP of sales.

The growth of Rainforest’s marketing and sales team follows a year of significant corporate and company momentum, including a $25 million Series B funding round and the addition of 130 new customers.
At Rainforest, Plummer will lead the marketing organization with an eye toward supporting the company’s growing global customer base. He brings decades of experience guiding organizations to identify major market opportunities, and transforming operations and strategies to capitalize on them. Plummer’s prior roles have included executive positions in sales, services, marketing and product development in large publicly traded and small privately held companies. He was previously CMO at Grapeshot, where he led the effort to define the contextual intelligence market and create a scalable global marketing team. Prior to Grapeshot, Plummer held CMO roles at Host Analytics Inc. and Datawatch Corporation. This breadth of experience provides him with a unique perspective on how software companies of all sizes operate, equipping him with the ability to lead Rainforest as its customer base evolves and market forces shift.

Prior to Rainforest QA, Willson worked at software companies Zenefits and HelloWallet to lead sales professionals, business development and customer renewals.
